ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Department of Civil Engineering was formed in the year of 2011. The Department of Civil Engineering of Calcutta Institute of Technology offers B. Tech. as well as Diploma Course in Civil Engineering. The Institute is approved to MAKAUT (formally, West Bengal University of Technology). The experienced and Competent Faculty members and Technical Support staff of the Department have been imparting quality Education and Training to the Students of the Institute.

To ensure quality education towards development of engineering skills to cater the prevalent and emerging needs of Construction & Design industry.

·  To develop requisite potential for becoming highly proficient Civil Engineering professionals, and to render them ready for industry, further study and life-long learning
