ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Department of Electrical Engineering was formed in the year of 2011. The Department of Electrical Engineering of Calcutta Institute of Technology offers B. Tech. Course in Electrical Engineering. The Institute is approved to MAKAUT (formally, West Bengal University of Technology). Course of Electrical Engineering has been started in academic Session 2011- 2012.

R&D activities have been started from 2012 and a numbers of Valuable papers were published from the Electrical Engineering Department since 2012-2013. The experienced and Competent Faculty members and Technical Support staff of the Department have been imparting quality Education and Training to the Students of the Institute.

To impart quality education and focus on research and innovation in Electrical Engineering to cater the need of the nation by creating a well educated, technically competent and socially responsible engineers
