It is our great pleasure to inform you that the Mechanical Engineering Department of Calcutta Institute of Technology has decided to organize two days’ workshop on 3D Printing at our seminar room on 3rd and 4th of September of 2019.

 

3D printing has gained a rapid boom in the present day scenario due to its flexibility and ease of generation of the complicated three-dimensional models.

 

The workshop is highly relevant not only to the mechanical engineering students but also for the students of other branches. The interested participants can register through an online portal which is given below. The workshop is also a part of MAR and MOOC as per the AICTE norms.

Course Outcomes

Learn about the materials, designing of CAD models, working of a 3D Printer

Understand how to build and calibrate a 3D printer
