Calcutta Institute of Technology is pioneer institute in the field of engineering education in India. This Institute has founded in the year 2004 to run engineering education such as Computer Science & Engg, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engg., Chemical Engg, Electrical Engg, Mechanical Engg., Civil Engg. and post graduated degree like Master in Computer Application, Master in Technology which can be comparable to any one of the pioneer Institute in India. The institute a cosmopolitan environment, qualified faculty, sophisticated equipments, modern library with documentation facility, indoor and outdoor games and cafeteria. The Institute is located by the side of National Highway (NH-6) and Uluberia Railway Station and can be reached within 45 minutes to one hour from Megacity Kolkata. CIT has a sprawling campus with 33 acres of institutional land, surrounded by lush green landscape.
